XBOX Originals - Save your money!

Just been reading a collection of reviews for the downloadable Xbox original games new to the marketplace. It would appear they're all a bit shit. You may well experience picture tearing, dodgy framerates, a lack of online play, no additional content (that was present on the discs) and none of them seem to support a widescreen format....oh, and they're more expensive than going down the shops and buying the games second-hand on a disc.

Don't do it!

At 12 quid a pop they are a tad more expensive than picking up the original, plus they occupy a whopping 3gb to 4gb of precious drive space.

They do not support widescreen formats but it has to be said the original boxed titles didn't either.

Crimson Skies, downloaded or otherwise is a fun yet short lived XBOX title. Some graphical tearing at the top of the screen is sometimes visible (like a sprite occupying incorrect memory space) but really you don't notice in the thick of the action.

They are old games, but feel the gameplay. Some of them are actually FUN to play. Get them on a disc if you can.

My personal hot picks are Fable and Crimson Skies.

Fahrenheit rocked my socks. I mean to check the backwards compatable list to see if its supported yet...
